Lake Ida

About

Home to a complex fish community, Lake Ida is a large clear lake with three public accesses. (1-Lake Ida Southeast Boat Ramp is just off Sunset Strip NW [concrete], 2- Lake Ida East Boat Ramp is just off Sugar Sand Ln NW [concrete], 3- Lake Ida North Boat Ramp is located just off of Big Horn Bay Rd NW [gravel])

Fishing and water recreation are popular on this lake.  In summer of 2023, Douglas County added Pilgrim Point County Park to the center of the lake, accessible from the east side of the lake on what is now called County Road 116.   The lake itself is 4,427 acres and is 106 feet deep at its deepest point.  It features 21.2 miles of shoreline.

It has a wide array of fish including Walleye, Large and Smallmouth Bass, Black Crappie, Bluegill, Hybrid Sunfish, Pumpkinseed, Rock Bass, Yellow Bullhead, Yellow Perch and Northern Pike (and an occasional Muskie).
