Lake Le Homme Dieu is a 1,800-acre basin located on the northeast city limit of Alexandria. It is part of the Alexandria Chain of Lakes. Navigable connections exist to Lake Carlos and Lake Geneva. Popular lake for fishing, boating and water recreation. Public access docks available. Two swimming beaches: Rotary Beach located between Lake Carlos and Lake Le Homme Dieu on County Road 42 and Lake Le Homme Dieu Beach located on the southern end of the lake. 

This lake has approximately 10 miles of shoreline and contains about 1801 acres. The maximum depth is 85 feet.  It has a wide array of fish including Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Hybrid Sunfish, Pumpkinseed, Rock Bass, Yellow Perch, White Suckers and Northern Pike.
