This month features a duo of detective tales. Stories written by Seattle playwright Sable Jak.
In the “Moxie Sisters”, chicken soup might be good for a cold, but a disgruntled client might be deadly to Ronnie D’Silva, private detective, who is sick in bed. His secretary and an old friend drop by with some hot soup and a warning about a former client who threatened Ronnie years ago. He’s so busy blowing his nose that he might miss someone trying to blow him away. Come find out if he ever makes it back to good health, let alone his office.
In “Murder on the Empire Builder”, detective, Ronnie D’Silva, thinks he’s on a restful trip to Montana to pick up some evidence and escort his secretary’s great aunt Tillie to her reunion. A run-in with an old colleague and the aunt’s curiosity at uncovering crime make for a not-so-restful excursion on the train to Whitefish. Join Ronnie and Aunt Tillie as a dead body is an unexpected passenger and turns their trip into murder.
