6. Discover the Legacy of the Lakes Museum
The Legacy of the Lakes Museum celebrates the value of Minnesota lakes, fine boat craftsmanship, fishing and resorting history. Their many exhibits feature Resort & Grand Hotel History, Minnesota Boat Builders, History of Chris-Craft & Larson Boat Works, Antique Launches, Minnesouri Angling Club, Classic Fiberglass Boats, Fishing Gallery and Kids Corner. Plus new exhibits and antique boats added every year! In 2017 guests will be treated with a special photo exhibit by Jim Brandenburg called “Touch the Sky.” To truly take in the Minnesota lakes culture, a visit to this museum is a must-do!
