Birds are busy finding food, feeding young of the year and preparing for their migrations. Enjoy a short program on birds, before learning some birding tips for finding or spotting them in the dense cover. We will then head out on a one hour birding walk. This is great for beginning birders. Bring your binoculars and camera if you have them, otherwise some will be available to share. Meet at the Visitor Center.
***Children must be accompanied by an adult to all programs.
***Programs may be canceled due to weather.
There is no cost for this event, but a Minnesota state parks vehicle permit is required to enter the park ($7/day or $35/year).
