Rotary’s Summer Sounds by Brophy Features Three Concerts

Lake Brophy County Park features a playground, picnic shelter, and parking lot with a few cars, all surrounded by grass and trees. The park overlooks a calm lake with a forested shoreline in the background.

Take one beautiful new county park, add a few summer evenings, live music, food and beverages and an organization willing to put in the work to bring it all together and hopefully you have a series of great community events. Introducing Summer Sounds by Brophy brought to you by the Alexandria Rotary Club. The idea started after hearing from neighboring Rotary Clubs that a summer concert series is a great community effort that could become a good fundraising source to help give back to efforts they believe in. One of the organizers from the Alexandria club, Dave Hartmann, explains much of the details in the following YouTube video
