Central Lakes Trail Conditions: Almost Clear!

A large Viking statue holding a spear and shield stands on a brick base near the walking path, offering a unique landmark for those checking central lakes trail conditions. Patchy snow covers the ground, with bare trees under a clear sky in the background.

When I got back to the trailhead just north of Downtown Alexandria, I absolutely NEEDED that hot chocolate I was craving earlier in the adventure. I stopped by Sweet Seasons (stay tuned for their upcoming new name change!) because I knew they had great coffee and other drinks along with all their store merchandise. They asked me if I wanted white and dark chocolate in my drink as well….yes!! While the hot chocolate was outstanding and worth the stop, I was also really tempted by all their new bike merchandise. Bike wheel wine holder…so cool!

Check back for additional updates as the spring season starts to take form. Get outside and enjoy this nice weather! Have fun, stay connected and keep Exploring!
