During the winter the public is invited to use the outdoor skating rink at Discovery Middle School in Alexandria. It is open to the public Monday through Friday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, Weekends and Holidays from 8:00am to 9:00pm. It is a natural ice rink located on the North side of the public school. (down in the outfield of the SE softball field).
