An amazing new Douglas County park located on the peninsula in the middle of Lake Ida. It includes several acres of land to enjoy with plenty of shoreline on either side, leading to a point that goes out for more than 100 yards into Lake Ida. Currently Pilgrim Point has bathrooms, parking, and a walking trail.
It has great swimming beaches, plus the sandy shore makes it easy to land your boat, pontoon, personal watercraft or SUP. In the summer of 2023 the new parking lots and restrooms were constructed.
