42nd Annual Vikingland Band Festival

The Vikingland Band Festival returns to downtown Alexandria on Sunday, June 28, bringing Minnesota’s top parade marching bands together for a day of music, competition and community celebration.

This year’s festival will feature 19 marching bands from across the region. From powerful musical performances and precision marching to colorful flags and high-energy drumlines, spectators will see bands at the peak of their summer season as they compete for championship honors.

The 2026 Grand Marshal is Joe Korkowski, a well-known media personality and enthusiastic ambassador for Alexandria.
