Artist Reception: Naomi “Noni” Bjorklund

The Alexandria Art Guild’s July Artist of the Month, Naomi “Noni” Bjorklund, will be honored at an Artist Reception on Friday, July 10, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the Guild’s Visual Arts Center, 612 Broadway in Alexandria.

A founding member of the Alexandria Art Guild, Bjorklund began painting in 2007 and has since become an award-winning artist working in painting, portraiture, jewelry making and enameling.

The public is invited to meet the artist, view a special exhibition of her work and enjoy refreshments.

The exhibition will remain on display throughout July. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and closed Sunday.
