From the Cities of Europe to the Lakes of Minnesota: Artist Talk with Melissa Werpy

The Alexandria Art Guild, in collaboration with Ida Graves Distillery, presents From the Cities of Europe to the Lakes of Minnesota, featuring the work of artist Melissa Werpy.

Working in both painting and fine art ceramics, Werpy explores the relationship between form, function and artistic expression. Her work highlights the connections between ceramic and painting practices, resulting in pieces that are both beautiful and functional.

Join Melissa Werpy for an artist talk on Sunday, June 21, from 5-7 p.m. at Ida Graves Distillery. Guests will have the opportunity to hear about her artistic inspirations, creative journey and artistic process while viewing the collection.

The exhibit is on display at Ida Graves Distillery from May 22-June 21.
