Get ready to hit the water for Big Ole PaddleFest 2025 — a two-day paddle event through the scenic lakes and rivers of Alexandria, Minnesota!
Whether you’re a seasoned paddler or new to the sport, PaddleFest welcomes all levels and paddle crafts — including kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards. Competitors ages 12 and up are invited to join the fun and race for a cause, with all proceeds supporting United Way of Douglas & Pope Counties.
Friday, July 18: Stand-up paddleboarders, kayakers, and canoeists will race across the Alexandria Chain of Lakes, testing speed, endurance, and strategy.
Saturday, July 19: The action continues with the Long Prairie River Cruise — a timed paddle down a designated MN State Water Trail, known for its winding turns and natural beauty.
