About the Event
ROAR, (The Runestone Off-Road ATV Riders) are hosting a lunch and fall color ride on the County’s 38 miles of designated ATV trailways.
This is an introduction to the first trail system in Douglas County at the beautiful Kensington Rune Stone Park. (Parking available at the park – on west side of paved Douglas County 103, a.k.a- the Viking Trail)
A light lunch will be served at the park from 11-1. Free Will Donation
Come check it out as we look forward to future expansion of trails in the area. (Maps will be available to take or screenshot on the day of the event.) People can then ride as much or as little of the 38 miles of designated ATV trails. The trail is all on public roadways and includes some paved roads, but mostly consists of gravel roads and all is public land.
The mission of the Runestone Off-road ATV Riders is to provide recreational opportunities for all off-road highway vehicle enthusiasts. To stimulate and strengthen our community by promoting a positive image and encouraging safe, social and fun family activities while respecting the environment.
