Runestone Ramble Trail Run

Hit the trails at the Runestone Ramble on Saturday, June 27, at Kensington Runestone Park, located just west of Alexandria. Hosted by the Alexandria Nordic Ski Club, this family-friendly event invites runners of all ages to experience one of Central Minnesota’s few trail running events.

Set within the park’s 304 acres of wooded hills and scenic trails, the course offers a fun challenge for both competitive and recreational runners. Participants can choose between the 7K Trail Run, featuring rolling terrain and challenging climbs, or the 1-Mile Kids Ramble, a family-friendly out-and-back course designed for younger runners.

Race Schedule:
8:30 a.m. – 7K Trail Run
9:45 a.m. – 1-Mile Kids Ramble
10:00 a.m. – Awards Ceremony

Bib pickup and race-day registration begin at 7 a.m. near the visitor center. Indoor restrooms are available.

Proceeds from the event support youth Nordic skiing programs, local middle and high school Nordic teams, and trail development efforts throughout the Alexandria area.
