A recent trip to Carlos State Park shows off the natural beauty of the Alexandria Area.
Every fall you get a few of those days when the colors just stand out. Wednesday, October 5th, 2022 was that day for me. I was at a conference for a couple of days, looking out the window at the sunshine and fall colors, just itching for a chance to get out and take some photos. Working in the tourism industry, I see all of those beautiful photos from across our state and country; with almost a jealous eye to the amazing photos. My recent purchase of a drone helped me go out and above the park for an incredible look at just how gorgeous things are, right here! The following video is quick look at a few places on the north and south end of Lake Carlos State Park. It’s located on the north end of Lake Carlos, but has miles of trails and 100’s of acres that can and are enjoyed by hikers, horseback riders, kayakers and campers. The following is just a taste of the Alexandria area’s vibrant colors both in and above the trees.
See other great fall color “Hot Spots” in the Alexandria area.
