Christmas in Alexandria
The Friends of Christmas formed as a small group of community members who believe Alexandria is an amazing community, and who shared a dream of having more community gathering opportunities surrounding the Christmas holiday. Our vision was to create a “Hallmark-style Christmas” in Alexandria!
Christmas in the Fort and the Downtown Lighting Ceremony put on by the Runestone Museum Foundation is a long-standing tradition in our area that attracts many people. We wanted to build upon that great event and add even more Christmas options.
